BRYTN is a startup established in 2020, backed by decades of R&D excellence. The company began researching and developing laser optical engines in 2006 as part of SK Telecom and has since continued to advance its proprietary laser optical engine and holographic optical engine technologies for nearly 20 years. Before the spin-off, 28 patents were registered under SK Telecom, and BRYTN was granted exclusive usage rights to them. Since becoming independent, BRYTN has further strengthened its innovation capacity by securing more than 11 additional patents as of 2025. The applicable fields include projectors, robotics, mobility (welcome displays and HUDs), AR/VR/XR, dental scanners, and sensing technologies.
